Our range custom motorcycle headsets use good quality cable, and decent quality connectors in their construction. Here of course the old sayings ring true, "you get what you pay for". They are also normally repairable and not just throw away items.

Motorcycle Headsets from Worldwide Communications give you the option of having separate microphone and earpiece plugging direct into the radio on some of the radios or a combined microphone and earpiece headset which you can build into the helmet. This type of headset is normally supplied with an in-line connector just outside the helmet, so you can remove the down lead if it is not needed anytime, or you can delete the connector for reduced cost.

Headsets can usually be supplied as either VOX only (where the radio supports this type of transmission) or as 'Press to Talk', when we supply a handlebar mounted PTT switch for transmission.

Microphones
Microphones can be either :-
Standard boom type, designed to slip in between the helmet and the liner ( this is not possible on some helmets),
Mini-boom which pushes upwards in front of the mouth between the chin piece of the helmet and the liner.
Where it in not possible to use either of the above designs we also supply front Velcro fixed microphones.
A combined boom microphone/ earpiece is also available, this is fitted internally in the helmet with Velcro or can be slid into place with the helmet on.

Earpieces
Earpieces can be supplied as D Shell type, Flexible D Shell,  Soft D Shell, or Velcro mounted.
Combined headsets for fitting into helmets, are normally supplied with either single or twin Velcro mounted earpieces.

We can also supply specialised earpieces which feed the sound direct into the ear via an acoustic coupling tube.

PTT Switches
We supply a number of different design PTT  (Press-To-Talk)  switches, either attached with Velcro, attached to the handlebars with Ty-Raps or unmounted, to mount as you wish, or to hold in the hand.
