The New Albrecht AE 500 S is the latest version of the motorcycle communication system, incorporating detachable two-way radio/ PTT lead.
It provides full duplex speech communication between rider and pillion, and has the capability of communicating bike to bike, if a suitable two-way radio is attached.
The Albrecht AE500 kit includes two headsets for full face helmets, an integrated mono FM radio can be switched on if required, the volume of the radio is automatically decreased when the intercom is in use.
The following equipment can be connected to the Albrecht AE500:-
External MP3 or CD player via 3.5mm jack plug instead of integrated radio A two-way radio either PMR446 or standard PMR provided connections are Maxon/ Icom type. The PTT switch is supplied in the kit. GSM mobile with 2.5mm stereo style connector (automatic incoming call switching mode must be active)
The Albrecht AE500 S is powered from 2 x AA type Alkaline or rechargeable
NICAD/ NIMH batteries
Alternative special custom boom microphones can be supplied for non-full face helmets at extra cost
